HomeMinder ("the App") is an offline-first home maintenance task manager. This policy explains how the App handles your information.
We do not collect, transmit, or share any personal data. Everything stays on your device.
Information We Collect
We do not collect any personal information.
The App does not:
- Require an account or login
- Collect your name, email, or any contact information
- Track your location
- Transmit any data to external servers
- Use analytics or crash-reporting services
- Display advertisements
Data Stored on Your Device
The App stores data locally on your device only:

This data never leaves your device. When you use the backup feature, data is exported to a file on your device that you control entirely.
All data is deleted when you uninstall the App.
Permissions
The App may request the following device permissions:
- Notifications — to send local reminders for upcoming maintenance tasks. No data leaves your device.
- Photos / Camera — to attach photos to tasks. Photos are stored locally and never uploaded.
You can revoke these permissions at any time in your device settings.
In-App Purchases
The App offers an optional premium upgrade via the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Purchases are processed entirely by Apple or Google — we do not receive or store any payment information. Please refer to Apple's or Google's privacy policies for details on how they handle purchase data.
Third-Party Services
The App does not integrate any advertising networks or analytics services. In-app purchases are handled by the platform's native billing system (Apple App Store / Google Play).
Changes to This Policy
If we update this policy, we will revise the Effective Date above and publish the updated policy at this URL. Changes take effect immediately upon posting.
